Working six times faster than standard thermometers, the Vicks 911 model completes a temperature reading in only ten seconds. Like Vicks’ other models, it beeps when done, and offers professional accuracy to within +/– 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit. A memory function allows comparison between the current and previous reading. Mercury-free and with no glass to worry about, this digital thermometer makes a safe thermometer for the whole family. Because the thermometer can be used orally, rectally, or under the arm, five disposable probe covers are included to help prevent contamination between family members (more covers can be purchased in pharmacies).
